Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s 1965 report titled “The Negro Family: The Case For National Action, Office of Policy Planning and Research” on the terrible deterioration in the condition of the black American family—aroused such a firestorm of denunciation and outrage in liberal circles that the topic was rendered totally radioactive for the better part of a generation.

Eventually the continuing deterioration reached such massive proportions that the subject was taken up again by prominent liberals in the 1980s, who then declared Moynihan a prophetic voice, unjustly condemned.

The fundamental problem, in which this is most clearly the case, is that of family structure. The evidence—not final, but powerfully persuasive—is that the Negro family in the urban ghettos is crumbling. A middle-class group has managed to save itself, but for vast numbers of the unskilled, poorly educated city working class the fabric of conventional social relationships has all but disintegrated. There are indications that the situation may have been arrested in the past few years, but the general post-war trend is unmistakable. So long as this situation persists, the cycle of poverty and disadvantage will continue to repeat itself.

Without a stable family structure, regardless of race, there are three, and only three fundamental issues “today” in America created by this situation and these fundamental issues are in partial to full denial by SPLC, OSF, BLM, Antifa, MSM and others that explain the black centric issues covered so far in Chapters 1 through 7.

In 2008, Barack Obama was able to connect such lawlessness to family breakdown. “Children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and twenty times more likely to end up in prison,” he pointed out in his Chicago speech.

Furthermore, these three fundamental issues for the most part are being ignored by SPLC, OSF, BLM, Antifa, MSM and other programs as you will see in Chapters 9 through 15 when it comes to priorities, resource allocation, and public policies needed to fix the problems.

If these organizations, groups, and constituents continue to ignore and downplay the problems and/or refuse to be part of the solutions—the ongoing problems and issues for a large segment of black America, particularly high crime rates, will continue to persist, as they have been for more than 50 years since the beginning of the Great Society measures of the 1960s.

Without a stable family structure, regardless of race, these are the three fundamental issues at the root cause of high black crime rates that no sapient being can deny.

Low black education attainment rates.

Low black fatherhood rates.

High poverty rates.
